Hecate is the High Priestess of the Coven. She is ethereal and lives in the Everwoods surrounded by enchanted beings just like herself. When the magical woods called to Hecate she chose them and the Birch Shadows chose her. Birch Shadows are her familiars—really rare ones, since they are the spirits of the woods. When she answered the wood's calling, she became one with it and intertwined with the powers of the birch trees. She is the root, the reason the Witches of the Sacred Woods exist, and every member gets their powers from these spellbound trees. They all came from the woods, and in the end, they will become one with it.
