Edith is maybe the most gullible and naive yet, at the same time, genuinely knowledgeable when it comes to important things. One of those things is plants, since she is a green witch, she sometimes needs to go on adventures to frightening places during inconvenient times. On a foggy morning, she realized her greenhouse was terrorized by something while she was away on an inquiry. After a long and tiring holy war for both parties, Edith realizes the little mouse is following her around, which makes her accept the fact that she cares for the little devil too. From then on, the two girls became an inseparable duo. Edith is forever grateful that, during her dreadful adventures, she is not alone anymore because there is a tiny little mouse named Basil in her hat at all times.
